thanks guys:) so it being a lap, does that, does that explain the growth rate? i dont know much about laps, so how fast do they grow? i'm pretty sure it can't keep up with the rtc.. how bout the oscars and knives?

btw, yeah i guess it's super stressed... you don't wanna hear how they transported it to get it here at my place. anyway, till how big does this dudes get?
 
it should still have ok growth, but not as fast as before now that its about a foot. expect growth to slow quite a bit after it reaches 14" or so. lapradei aren't the fastest grower in general. in captivity, it takes some serious time and effort to even get to 18".
 
they can be kept with knifes and oscars just fine the RTC is anouther story i would like the poly but as a giant noodle so that won't work but when larger they go just fine with clown knifes

laps will hardly ever get over 24'' in aquariums and that takes 10+ years
