Thanks everyone wait till you see the big one lol. Right now hes in tupperwear cointainer a big one as the two were fighting once I get the 100 gal setup I hope they will have enough room so they dont fight. Can any one tell me how to tell the males from females thanks Pat:grinno:
 
if they are drab and not nearly as blue theyre girls.
 
If the mbuna are not particularly aggressive and the peacock is aggressive or not timid, i find it works good. I have had a paired up set of albino strawberry peacocks in my mbuna tank for 6 mo now. no problems. I noticed the mbuna dwell almost exclusivly in bottom of tank and peacocks and acei hang out in the top area.

I should point out though i dont have any johanni or male kenyi in the tank anymore. alot of the more aggressive mbuna species would make it impossiable.
 
Thanks everyone I was wondering can you keep all males in a tank different ones I mean, I dont really want to breed them Id just like a show tank in the living room planning on a 200 gal next year for the den in the basement.Thanks Pat:)
