I think that Almost you may have a an Orino by the looks of it. Of Course Mjuniorc has this awsome TECHNO CICHLA:clap with awsome color. The features on your Almost are very simular. I am jelaous of you all.:irked: As for the Tug/Tonuge Cichla I could'nt tell if I wanted too. That deep line down the middle was new to me.

Did you not see the part about these fish being brothers/sisters coming on the same order and were all the same size? One of mine just so happened to grow like a weed and the others did not.;)

To further add to the my previous post.. There are pics in the Cichla ID’d thread that accurately prove the opinions in my previous post. Mainly, an Orino from One River; Lake or Local, can look completely different from one another, of different local. Colors are different, patterns and spotting.. And even shape can be a little off due to nature and genes. You can look in posts 12-13-14-15. Also you can Google these or Orinocensis and see the same pics and descriptions.

This will lead into my next post as It will have to do with some of the most recent and direct ID’s complications, and reasons for those complications.

Now this ID thread is not the greatest.. IN my own opinion.. BUT it is good visual reference.

I know it hasn't been 6 months but I have a couple recent pictures I'd like to put up of the bass in question. I figure this is a good thread to keep the updates in seeming how it is linked in Toungue's I.D and discussion thread. One of the bass pictured is the actual fish from the beginning of the post, I'm not going to tell you which one it is because I don't feel it's important. Some of the pictures are a bit chalky and out of focus but I wanted to make sure these guys were shown with out the flash distorsion (and I suck at taking pictures without the flash:cry:) I've tried to get several different angles with the fish being in different lighted areas of the tank. I hope this is only the first update of several in the months to come.;)

I would have to say that the diamond formation is going to be our best bet with the Orinos that I see above. AS for different local of sp. orinocensis. Too be determined......
