so it looks flower horn ish? it has the plate spots with some gold and uh red belly... but it has blue spots on him like a blue jewel, possible hybrid? the store i bought it from told me it was blue jewels so i'm confused.. please id. tia.

yes theres two! haha the one on the left is bigger and darker color where as the on the right is not as dark and just a bit smaller both are around 4-5inch mark

Jack dempsey. I'll move it to the appropriate forum.
 
Extremely familiar to me, the first aggressive cichlid I bought in '77 was a Jack Dempsey, what you have in the pictures, and what the others have answered, not a hybrid. I believe them to both be males, the females have more blue markings close to the mouth. The lighter colored one is likely subdominant.
 
they both have blue mouths haha it looks cool, these guys actually try and steal bloodworms that my jar has in its mouth already haha its quite neat
