I have received some fishes labeled as tiger fish/datnoid by the seller. However, since i have been keeping some indo dats for years, I noticed there are some different on bodies, colour and bar. Here are the speciments that I have just received.

you can see the difference with this little Indo dats below that I used to keep:

Could you here experts, advise me what type of tiger those fishes are? I mean does they really datnoid family? If not, what fishes are they.

American Tiger? Hmmm.... It is caught from Borneo

What is the more expensive of those two different species. I am afraid that I pay too much since i am planning to get new ones.

ATs historically have been cheaper then ITs but now, at least in the US, the market has been flooded with baby ITs and ATs arent seen as often, the prices are about the same.
 
About the same price, in my area.
