I am pretty sure it is a syno but I don't know which one. He was hiding so I couldn't get a great pic of him.

Looks to be a Synodontis Eupterus.

It looks like a synodontis frontosus. How big is it?

When they are small they have spots, but as the get bigger the lose them.

It's around 4". It's not a Eupterus I have a couple of them in the same tank.

Yeah that kind of looks like mine. I have a bunch of different synos in with my africans and the Eupterus are the only ones I know by sight.

Mybad, I don't know what it is then. It could be a frontosus though, looks very similar.

looks like mine,you are only the third person i have found with a synodontis frontosus... they are quite rare to find...here is a pic of my adult... 13 inches..
