i know mine that look like his are kenyi. i got both mine at same time and was all from same fry litter . heres pic of mine when i got them and the picture up there on the post is of the blue one a few months later.

Theres just too many hybrid malawis around at the moment

Thats why we mainly import wild fish from the lake, at least then you know what your getting.

I'm not 100% sure but it looks like a Metriaclima sp. Zebra Long Pelvic.

well the only reason i guessed yellow lab x is because it has the the tracings of a black dart on the top fin like mostly all yellow labs do. i know not ALL yellow labs have that black line (i have a pale yellow one that doesnt) but it just looks so much like a lab. then again it could be a kenyi mix too..
