personally i would get the motoros they have, as far as desirable.... niether one really is... they are cheap brown rays that wholesalers and collectors dont treat very well so they are more then likely not very healthy.... motoros are alot hartier

i liked one of the motoros a lot better than the other, but what I actually thought I wanted for my first was a hystrix. maybe I should just wait to find one. how long will a motoro last in a 300 wide? do any vendors have hystrix right now?

ok, i just saw aquascape still had some. I don't have one yet, but I've been trying to find one that's 96x30x24 (LWH). It would prob go in my 125 for a little while. the biggest tank I have right now is 7x2. They are only like 5" diameter disc right now. One had a lot more spots than the other.

2 years maybe longer in the 7x2 maybe up to 5 in the 300.... lots of factors on how fast they grow

that'll work for me. I wanted something a little dif than a moto, but maybe that would be a good choice for me. Thanks for all the help
