The boat started us with chunks of what seemed to be salted mullet. After we used our allotment of that, we helped ourselves to a large bin of salted herring. I don't recall how far into the trip this was, so I'm not sure on bait. I do think it was caught on salted herring b/c it was caught on a companions pole. She did not start fishing until later in the trip since the boat ride out was quite rough. At this point, I think my sister and I already used all of the mullet.

Thanks I was curious as my father in law collects pics of all he catches but never saw a remora he uses fish,squid parts his fish market sells in bulk as bait.

I just emailed him the link he will get a kick out of the remora.

As promised, the pic of the remora suctioned onto the boat. The marks on my arm are now too faint to show up in a pic- I can barely discern them in person. (This time the bonus pic is a rainbow in the salt spray kicked up by the boat.)
