Hi.. That's definitely a female salvini.. She's really got some nice coloration congrats.. What else is in the tank with her?? They can get a bit aggressive as they get bigger.. Good luck with her.. Sue

shes actulay in a tank with alot of other african cichilds....didnt know much about her b4 getting her. Theres a range but mostly peacocks in with her.

as many have said already "you got a very nice female sal there"

the spot on the dorsal fin doesn't mean it's a female. it looks like a male to me, females have a lot more red on the underside.

Please show me a male that has the black blotch in the dorsal.
