wc pike in Madeira tributary. looking to buy just not sure wich one it is.

Could be strigata complex or 'jacunda' lenticulata, of the lugubris group. Very nice mottled markings, seldom seen color in the rear dorsal!

That looks like a Marmorata with whats called the " Manchata " look which i'm pretty sure is a fungus thats what the black on that pike looks like atleast

Could be wrong it is a member of the Lugubris group like MTN pike said thats for sure

fish was very clean and healthy lookin. not sure if you ever saw size of peacock lures, almost as big as the pike. i caught a few that day think they were breeding.
