Endli with some captive bred stripes. I never saw one with a horizontal stripe down the lenght of the body like that before.

Those gills will eventually shrink away.

Those are external gills... They help the young bichirs get oxygen out of the water. They will usually disappear before the bichir gets too old and starts relying on gulping air from the surface.
