Just spent day at niagara on the lake.....grabbed some peaches and did little fishing....

that was my second thought they look similar when smaller

It's a white perch. White bass have stripes and the stripes show around 3-4 inches if not earlier. The fish in the picture looks a little bigger than that.

Check the rules in your State, some states do not allow you to have a live White Perch.
And yes, its a White Perch.

white perch. I think its illegal here to fish and keep white perch even though I have never seen or caught one.
