Thanks for replies. Wow i find all the diff named species of rays are confusion especially when people are just tagging names on rays. So to recap i think that these rays are just a morph off of a motoro? Is this right? Therefore are worth no more or less than a motoro.
they are def not a motoro, but .... the going price on them i would say would be less then a motoro, not to much tho
I've had two of these and found that they have great personalities. They were easy to get on pellets and they also were aggressive eaters. You should have fun with your new pet!
Did not buy any yet. I am still researching. Kind of wanted something smaller in adult size but having a hard time finding a smaller breed local. They had motoro's that were just pups at about 3 inches for 110 canadian. Then these ones they wanted 100 each at about 5 to 6 inches in diameter. I like the motoro's colour much better but would sacrifice some colour for a smaller ray.
these will be about the same size as a motoro, reticulated, scobina, and hystix would be ur best bet. i would go with a motoro (one of the most hardiest rays)
