i had 2 that looked exactly like yours they were called high colored tex but i think it was a bad atempt to make a red tex ... they also are nice fish that can get very aggressive but have alot of character..
 
great character but wow what an attitude!!! You better believe it. BUt he is getting along most of the time with his tank mates. Might be looking to sell him as I needing more space for my Red Texas Fry and growouts. Not sure what I could get for him, but oh well.
 
the local petshop gave me 30 for mine at 6 7 inchs. but when i had mine i had a male festae that was 4 inchs bigger as soon as the tex got close to its size it was tyson and hollyfield all over agian
 
Mine took on my festae as well.....well when I had a festae....sold him...wish I had one again, looking for a pair....but nobody sellin...
