I've had this guy for a couple of months now. I think he's a hybrid mono/ocell but which sp does he seem more of? Thoughts please.

He headshape defiinitely looks more occel but the markings look more monoish like the peru monos even though they go all the way down....most occels have there stripes go straight down and not in the triangular shape like that one...just MY OPINION THOUGH

Not enough spangling to be an Ocell IMHO, has alot of mono in it for sure. Hell who really knows these days lol. These odd ball cichla like this make the hobby a little more interesting dont they?
