ID please

I'm not sure on ID, but if you look closely, it seems to have seperate dorsal, adipose and caudal (tail) fins, they just look like individual fins.
Based on size, I also think it's a small madtom species, and think you need to wait a while and let it grow a bit before you'll get a definite ID.

i tend to agree with martins. Considering the small size i find a positive id difficult. However, since you said it came in with a shipment of ghost shrimp, i lean towards ictaluridae, a common family to be shipped with ghost shrimp, by accident. Given the body shape i agree with madtom. as to what species. Any guess would work, but the continuation of the adipose into the caudal i think it is Noturus gyrinus.
