I will say this, this canal and its connecting canals I have caught Mayan and Salvini out of. TO me this look like neither but yet both the same.

Looks like a Salvini. I didn't know there were wild populations of Salvini in South Florida! I knew about Oscars, P bass, Midas and some others but never knew about Salvini. We don't get much of that stuff in NE Florida. I'll be headed South next month. I may have to bring my pole too.
