if this is your fish then it's Sciaenochromis fryeri, ahli is more rare and even though fish stores say they have them, they are fryeri

chances are it will be fryeri, ahli's are very rare and i'm not sure if anyone has an actual ahli. even petstores label them wrong most of the time. if youre wondering how to tell difference in gender, males will be colorful, females will be brownish.
