when I got my 10g tank, this was all that was in it (free from my sister - so I blame her for getting me hooked!). later that day, I went and got my channel and 1 shark. got a pictus the next day, which died after a week. its whiskers got tangled in some underwater grass and wasn't found until the morning. I replaced that with the 2 other sharks, and within a month was up to my 30g tank, to which I just added 3 angels.

I have one of these and 2 gold. theyre about 5 inches. Like others have already said, chinese algae eater. I saw one at a lfs which was around 7 inches.

yes I do. plan is to move the channel into a pond, the sharks into a brackish tank, and the angel's into a bigger tank

I love those guys, my fav suckas! Except that they are too aggressive and so the cichlids end up getting pissed off and kills them.

Yeah, just watch out for them sucking on your fish's slime coat... as they tend to stop eating algae when they get a bit bigger...
