Looks to be a Keyhole cichlid (Cleithracara maronii), they are from South America...

Interesting, I've never seen/heard of them before. It does look more like a Cupid though... Disregard my Keyhole comment.
 
Its been suggested on another forum its either Biotodoma Waverni or Biotodoma Cupido and on closer inspection I beleive it may be Biotodoma Waverni. Anyone any idea how to sex these guys

Now it does seem to me like a Biotodoma Waverni when I look at the spot on his body..

In Cupido it supposed to be like that (the spot almost "touches" the dorsal fin):

so you got a Biotodoma Waverni.
