wow...very nice!!...just look at the fins n tail pattern...body coloration just make me wanna keep this guy longer...thanx for the pix dude..so this is your 1 foot jag how long does it take to achieve 1ft size? FYI, mine fed on small goldfish, shrimp, earthworm, and chopped prawn.

He got to a foot in like 18 months without power feeding i dont do that just healthy diet clean water.

I would leave the goldfish out of the diet not real healthy for them. Mine gets a staple of pellets hikari gold and staple, massivore, nightcrawlers and frozen silversides.

well ive tried hikari staple and jumbo carnistick but he show no interest...maybe coz its a wild caught so never taste hikaris in a wild...lol..so how do you train your jag with hikaris?

My male just like them i got lucky . You could try throwing them in with food he eats he may grab by mistake. Offer nothing but pellets for a few days. It will just take time.

Just don't feed him for a few days and try again. If he doesn't take them...take them out wait a few more days and try again and he eventually eat them.
