This is my buddya fish. I think its a pure green Texas. He thinks its a flowerhorn x Texas mix. What do you guys think? He also might be selling this beast in the future!!

Is there color in the tail or is it pure black? Hard to tell if its just the lighting. IF its a hybrid, you can probably get $20. If not, $40.

There is color in the tail. Green scales like the body with a hint of red. I thought they were worth a lil more. I'm new to the whole fh x Texas thing. I own peacock bass and a cichlasoma ornatus.

I agree w/ you. It is male cyano. Here is a pic of my old 10" female. Not all of the black spots on the tail are showing, but those come and go w/ the mood of the fish. They can really varry in color from green to purple too.
