I'm going with Clown Knife VC-10 HAP with a mix of benga sunshine peacock. Looks like a nice fish for $15. He has color so you know your going to get a male.

It's labeled assorted African cichlid and the LFS has no idea 4 pictures of the same fish from different angles

In the first picture it looks like a Sunrise Peacock. In the others it looks like a Venustus hybrid.

Regular venustus Its just changing colors early. It can be a old fish that wasnt taken car probably and it stunted growth. Definately Haplochromis Venustus. Its a male too and you paid to much you should have gotten him for aroun 9 at the most.

Trust me it a venustas changing into a male. It the lighting from the picture promise.
