Wow, I own a lot of cichla other than Kelb as stated. Not saying it doesn't have Kelb, just looks to have ocell in it. It was just IMO, so back off.

You guys it is easily identified as a wild caught kelberi. No other pbass species has any spngling dot in its anal fin at all, period. If you see any anal fin spangle or start spangling, it is Kelberi. I grew out 2 from fry size to current adult size, and the one BassinMike had he sold to me but it died from my stupid armatus bit it in the eye and it died. So I vowed no more dumb fishes with potential teeth that could damage any of my other fishes. I use to keep armatus and ATF with my pbass but i dont trust them anymore.
