These particular peacock bass as me and you know Jay are apparently Temensis and i can see how they may turn out if they are that;

Ash, I would agree Tems have a wide variety of colour and as shown in your pic the red fins/eyes and 3 black bands do look similar, but these particular Cichla have the body/head shape of an Occel.
They are an interesting looking bass but they are not, IMO what was advertised. There are so many people trying to pass Occels/Farmies off as other sp. to make more £
But who knows hey?! Time will tell.
I'm undecided myself to be honest - I really can see the Ocell in them, my friend has similar sized Ocel and says they are not similar but i do genuinely think they are.

Im defo Occel on these, they just need fattening up so they dont look skinny.
If I thought they were maybe Tems id have picked some up myself.
