It's a female gambusia that never got bred. That said, at this time of year the females are not pregnant if they come from an area of cooler temperatures.
 
Definitely gambusia. There are so many variations of these guys. I bet if you put her in warm water and give her a full belly you'll see some sort of gravid spot.

Mummichog, it's a killi fish, quite common around here in brackish water but will stray into fresh.

I take that back, how big is it? The likely hood of finding an unbred gambusia is quite low. In the pic it looks much bigger, i am going to say killi fish of some kind until i know how big it is...

Seriously doubt it was Mummichog. It's a mosquitofish...more common hitchhikers in feeder tanks.
 
Moon, it's not a killifish, it's a gambusia or Western Mosquitofish and that fish is an unpregnant female gambusia.
