That bad boy is definitely Polypterus endlicheri endlicheri, aka Saddled Bichir. These guys are one of the bichirs that can grow well into the 2 foot range and they (bichirs in general) have what's like a lung in place of a swim bladder, so the surface to gulp air frequently. Very nice fish bro!

That's for sure is a hybrid but not endli x ansorgii but a cross of endli x lap.

i think ats not endli x lap ,because the pattern is so different

Maybe it is a CROSS guys/girls but it is definitely not a hybrid. Hybrids, are when two separate species are bred to produce another animal. Crossing two bichirs doesn't produce a hybrid bichir unless they come from two separate genotypes. It's a cool looking bichir for sure though!

JwHiser13, there are different forms of hybrids in biology.
A hybrid such as being discussed here is whats known as an "interspecific hybrid".
