Just been to a major fish store/breeder where they had more then 2000 aquariums.
I picked some fish up like a 2.5 inch aequidens rivulatus gold seam and this guy,
But forgot his name due to being stunned from seeing al those fish.

Thanks for the quick response , can u give a little bit information because they told me they get about 20-25 cm but I just read something that said 40cm so.
And about what u guys experienced with them .

Actually 12"+ is not too uncommon. Got a buddy with one about that long.

Looks like a female in your pic, so it should not get more than 12", but I have seen large males in the cenotes of Mexico that are much larger.Here is a video of some females and subordinant males in a small pool just east of cenote Azul.
Some of these are easily 10"and no where near the size of dominant males I've seen
