Whoever said 40 cm is on something (drugs!)

8 inches is average for a big, old specimen.

This is a link to the site I found some info on , and here it also says 37-41cm and it also says its not to aggressive but most people say its aggressive so now I'm confused.

When I kept mine in a 150 gal tank, I didn't consider them aggressive by normal Central Amer cichlid standards, and they spawned in that community cichlid tank. At the time the male was approx 8"+ and the female approx 6".
I would imagine if you were to cramp them, the scenario may be totally different.
When diving with them, I never saw any overt aggression (even against the schools of live bearers), but if you notice in the video, many individuals are a bit scarred up.

Till now I find them real easy and not aggressive at all, but its in here for 2 days now.

Thanks for the quick response , can u give a little bit information because they told me they get about 20-25 cm but I just read something that said 40cm so.

Whoever said it got to 40cm thought that what you had was a festae / red terror that get bigger than mayan
