I bought this guy as a red pearl. Any ideas on what he might be 3"-4". Thanks for any help.

Looks like standard zz base color so I would assume its a red dragon. It might not be pure zz so they called it something else or they just didnt know.
Its a chain aquarium store pretty big place. They called it a red pearl fh. Was $20 @ 1".

a bit overpearl for a red dragon. i would stick to kamalau.

Real gm are pretty much not available at all and certainly not at larger lfs getting their fish through a larger distributor. Its not "overpearl" for a rd. Dont call it what it is not.
