Yours is a zz based fish (guessing a low color rd as they are the most common) and zz are supposed to have pearls. He has a nice little hard head that isnt going to get huge but I think alot of people prefer a fish like yours. I think you can find plenty of fairly accurate care info in the stickied threads in this section of mfk.
