Please tell me this is an early april fools joke...green sea turtles are CITES appendix I. You could face some serious jail time for keeping one. The exception is if it came from a verified captive breeder, which would make it appendix II and legal to own with certain restrictions on trade. It's the same severity as keeping a dugong!

Do you know that Argentine boa constrictor is listed under CITES Appendix I? Do you know how hard to purchase or how expensive an Argentine boa constrictor is?

We're talking about a snake that can only be found for sale in the top 3 results from Google and cost $200 max.
 
LOL!....this has got to be the first time I've ever seen a spoiler in an animal discussion thread...John is quite the collector;some of you may not have been around when he showed off photos of the manatee in his pond.
