Hey Guys... I am not a Cichla guy at all so please dont judge my ignorance... I bought this guy as a "bahia kelberi" at about 2 inches from one of our vendors... now I am not sure what it is he is about 14 inches now ... please help

It could be a kel but that size it should be full of spangles,at least on it's anal fin.
