The H. Tigers mostly chased each other. They make loud clicking noises during the chase. I had them in a 65 gal. Tank with a juvenile Green Terror & Blue Jack Dempsey as well as a few Salvini.
The Tigers would actually nip at the cichlids tail fins, and easily out swim the cichlids when they responded. The Tigers would also tunnel into the gravel completely concealing themselves.
I originally had nine or ten Berdmorei Tigers. The pictured alpha Berdmorei killed every one of his sibblings. He badgered the others to the point that they eventually starved.
