Ok, I'm going to have to reveal myself to having been a complete and utter arse . It's a captive bred cross... A Hypancistrus sp. L260, crossed with something I don't know... but will try to find out if possible. Ok so you can :banher: :banher: :banher: now :D

But if it makes you feel better, I don't know the other half of it's parentage...
 
hmm very interesting it looks just like a monte dourado, i would have def. bought it as that...do you know what was in the original hybrids genes?

Unfortunately I have spoken to the supplier, and I can't back track through. All I know for sure is it was german bred and a L260 cross of some sort. To be honest, it was ordered out of curiosity when i ordered a bunch of L260s and L. heterodon at the same time. I agree though, I am taking the sellers word for it that half of the cross was L260.
