I have seen this occur as well, that is why after sometime I have move to sand and agranite and other others... The fish at times will not notice that they have rub their mouth raw... especially if making a nest for a mate is on their mind...

it wont really come out in the pics but the yellow dots on the body r a lot more visable in person....

ite well 6 1/4" but only just measured to check... not bad estimate for a kid that was taught cm at school...
