its a green sunfish for sure i had a blue gill for 6 years and they dont develop a circle like shape until they get really big when bluegills are that size they look more like dull electric blue cichilds they also have different markings

that is a green sunfish i have five of them and they all have the distinctive white markings on the caudal fin and anal fins
it is definetly a green sunfish i had one a few years back that i bought from a store so i would say it is safe to keep i live in ohio though
So what do you guys feed your Green's? I tried a pellet lastnight but it spit it out. He is eating earthworms like crazy. He's a little guy so I'm only giving him one a night. He attacks them though!
