Ok i see , thanks for the help guys , now that i think back i seen a pleco at a lfs labled as 'large bushy nose" but it didnt look like one at all it looked full grown but short body with a large head , i think it was a medusa pleco. for 19.99 i should have grabbed it!!

That will depend on the specific species of bristlenose. Like common plecos, there are several different species that go by this "common name".
Well I'm not referring to anything but the ones who've been bred by the thousands and thousands by hobbyists. albino, calico, green dragon, super red....
