Red texas is also a hybrid, not a color morph. I believe red texas have a lot of labiatus and carpintis in them, but they have who knows what else.

I know it is not a Red Texas, as in the 250.00 FH. It might be a JD/Green Texas mix. But I don't know why everyone is automatically saying Hybrid. I think It could just been a the "reddish" colormorph of Herichthys cyanoguttatus. Look at some of the pics here....

The large spot in the middle, the odd face, and fins all give it away, obviously not a pure cichlid.

Very pretty doesn't look like a pure Carpin i would say hybrid to looked like a texas but somethin about the color of the second pic just says flower horn

Already covered by a couple of others, it's a Texas x Unknown, definitely a hybrid.
