I found this silver dollar at my lfs for $7, the owner told me its birth defect, (to have the black bar) but I dont believe him. Is this another type of silver dollar? I never seen anything like it :eek:

I kept it in 85F ish.. since everybody in the tank got ick :irked:

40 cm.. thats 1.3ft.. its gonna look huge since it got high back :nilly:

I guess one is ok.. Was planning to buy a few more but I will scratch that idea now :grinno:

o boy o boy, need a 180G soon :(

I tried to grab some more at my lfs .. and the price got raised up to $16.99 each :irked: and 2 left :(

so I brought another one but my peacock bass doesnt like it (too small) :irked: and beats on it x.x :( so sad :(
 
Even at 16.99 that is a deal. I would buy them all. I know of a vendor who is selling them at 45 a pop on another site. All SDs do better in groups of a minimum of 3-4. The larger the better.
 
actually fishbase says 39 cm for the black bar and that is what it is. That is way more than a foot, not sure what size for aqarium thgough.
