will it eat the other fishes in the tank as it grows?

Yes it most likely will they will get around 3 feet long can get much bigger but small tanks will stunt them which will lower there life span they do need a very large tank or a pond i would trade it in to your LFS ( local fish store ) or try and sell it they can grow pretty fast
the green and pink fish are what use to be black skirt tetras they appear to be dyed fish
Chinese algea eaters can be kept in groups but when they become adults they get very territorial and stop eating algea they don't eat much to begin with they don't like each other very much when older ,it won't get lonely
