How do I put the fertilizer in the tank. Will the discus be ok with the fertilizers? DO I need C02 if I got fertilizers. C02 is can be more dangerous?
The discus should be fine with the ferts. What ferts are you using? Solid ferts are simply buried near the plant roots and they last for a long time. They work better with plants that absorb nutrients through the roots. Liquid plants are your best bet for plants that absorb nutrients through the water column. Floating plants are primary examples of those that absorb nutrients in the water column.

Did you remove our mondo grass yet?

Its very difficult to recognize every plant. And I can say keeping them is much harder.
Don't let the plants discourage you from keeping them. It's a matter of doing things right. Select the plants that suit your needs. If your lighting is low, then you definitely need to start with low lighting plants. Some plants are relatively undemanding. This will include anubias, Java moss, Java moss, crypts, Nymphaea lotus, Egeria densa, hornworts, cabomba, pennyworts, hygrophilas and vallisnerias. Most are slow growers so don't count on seeing any changes.

Study the sticky threads by Wyldfya and you'll get more ideas where to start things right. If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Hi, Yes I have removed the mondo grass plants. I have bought solid fertilizer. And i have rapped the fert in wool at the root of the plants. I still need to know names of other plants. The cabomba plants are showing new growth. I did not put the ferts until yesterday. So the light and CO2 must be in good(correct - sufficiet) amount before the ferts!?

My discus are not eating. I bought 3 dark blue discus. But they are pale in colour now. And are not eating. All of my discus are not eating but angels are eating. I gave them pellets, bloodworm and fakes. They are scrating themselves by rubbing their bodies against air tubes. Two discus are breathing heavy but three are breathing fine. Can i use the same amount of medicine i use when my angels are sick. Or do discus need special treatment. What could be wrong with them.
Thanks

Ahsan Ali, please post the last paragraph in Discus section for more queries.
