It certainly wasn't captured in Amphilophus labiatus' native range so being "wild caught" has nothin to do with nothin in this case.

Either way that fish has awesome colours. If it is a lack of sunlight reason why they go paler what about a reptile UV flourescent tube instead of normal for the lighting?

Failing that get the sunbed out lol
