That is a nice pair... and sorry guys, I kinda cheated. I have these fish! LOL...

From what I have been led to believe, you have to give them a "cooling down" period, that helps trigger spawning, when you warm the water back up? No clue how accurate that is... I never cooled my down, but alas, they have never spawned either. I've only had them for maybe 2 1/2 months or so though.

I said(or meant to say) HRP X Con or HRP X Salvini or Con X Salvini.
I seen picks of all these hybrids & they do resemble the fish that were in question.
:grinno:

This is what your " HRP X con X salvini X naked mole rat" would look like.

Whhhaaa? What happened to the Blue acara? the ones I told you about they were getting shipped in on this weds. did you not get another male?

Yes it's definitely australoheros sp. red ceibals, pretty mellow fish for their size. They had laid eggs in the LFS tank so it was easy to catch both at the same time cuz they attacked the net lol

No I decided to let the female grow a little bit more before putting her thru that again lol, she was too tiny and always got busted lips from breeding. I'll get her a male when shes around 5 inches.

For an unidentified lfs pick up, those are some of the nicest ceibals I've seen. Don't keep the water above 79 degrees for those guys. They like it cool.

Would 74 F be ok to live in? I also have Salvini and Blue Acara.
