No the bottom is not an acestro. Ive had glass headstanders but I think they only get like 4" and these appear to be much larger then that!
thank god! now i know im not the only one on a characins fix,
i think im going to set up a few monster tanks with about every species of characins i can find, they are such awsome fish
i think the only tank i will end up thats not characins might be a lone arow, other then that all characins + bottom feeders,
they ROCK!

The only problem with them is that most are very hard to get off of live food!
Im hoping to get a 300 soon and my plan is a coulple wide bar dats, indo dat, a bichir or two and then some characins. So far I have an ATF, Fei feng, and redtail payara. My dream fish would be ARMATUS!!!

They are definitely not payara. They just resemble them, that's all. Expect other people to chime in saying that they are, only because of the resembelance.
