Well, they are definatly not tomato clowns, lol, nope. I would have to say that those are false percula's (Ocellaris Clown). The main difference between the two (false vs. true Percula), is that they have thinner black borders, than the true Percula, and they (false) have 10 rather than 11 dorsal spines, and a higher anterior dorsal. They are pretty hardy little guys, and really easy to keep, I have about 5 right now, they aren't too picky when it's dinner time, and if you have a Ritteri, or carpet anemone, they will love you. LOL. The only problem with them is that they can be extremly belligerant towards others of their kind, so I suggest keeping them in groups around 3-7, that way a pecking order is defined, and no one fish is picked on too much. They are cute though, and yes, the bigger one will be (IF isn't already), the female. Good luck.

:WHOA:

i belive the biggest one is a female already, because it was in a tank with an onyx clown, and i believe the onyx was a male already.

Those are most likely occelaris. 95% Though I've got a lot of glare from my window and I can't see the stinkin picture very well. Percs have significant more black on them. As far as tomato??? 30 years of keeping freshwater fish maybe. That's a pretty basic salt fish to get confused. But maybe they call em different things in different places.

they look like percula's... but even it theyr male and female don't mean they will breed
mates are usually sold as a pair

That's true, but sometimes even "breeding" pairs don't mate. That's why keeping them in small schools naturally raises your chances of sucessfull breeding. I wouldn't buy into that whole buying a "breeding pair" thing, most places will charge you more for a mated pair, but more often then not, they are matched up the same as the rest, and breeding is 50/50. Just get some more - get them as small as you can, as you already have a large one. They will make their own "chain of command", and take it from there - if it is to happen at all. I have had perc's for a few years, and out of 20 or so (from three different schools in seperate tanks), only twice have they sucessfully bred, to where I was overwhelmed with babies. -- the LSWFS loved me though, LOL, as I gave them most of them. Good luck though!
