Sorry for the bad pictures.. Some new rare Pike Cichlids that Miguel has obtained.. Need to find out what they are, and stay tuned to XoticAquatix's forum about their future availability!!

Any Guesses? Out of Iquitos, Peru.

I can't see the other two pictures...its looks kewl though. Looks like its a type of Saxatilis pike...but not sure...need to see the tail...and a clearer picture! I know you can do better than than Miles! hahaha

First one is a female...might not be saxatilis after all, looks more like a color variant of johanna...how many you have and how much?! I'll take a group...;)

Maybe Cincta? They come out of Iquitos, that is all I really know.. I will have more answers when they become state-side..

the first one looks like a cincta pike : s.american!, my brother has a male 8" and a 5" female we hope. i have a 5" girl cincta. the other two are johannas definitly :clap :woot:

1st is a lepidota, female with pink/red belly

2nd looks like a Johanna, maybe male, no red belly

3rd looks like a cincta except for that red stripe, only have seen black and white. But not everything has been documented so it might be. The lines arent thick enough for Stocki or punctata.

man, I dont even care, how much, Im going get a tank (or two), pool, empty the 150, something. they look badazz

Aight, don't know how any times i gotta say this...but there are NO CINCTA in this thread!! The first one is actually a female anthurus...;)...second two pictures are peruvian johannas. Allow me to show you pictures of CINCTA...;) Cincta has a blunter snout, a distinct tail pattern and much more bold barrin...trust me..NO CICNTA!

Snout smout man...
Yes you're a pike nut but we've already said that not all have been truly identified or imported like talking about. And most have many variants, so why couldnt that be a cincta? Not arguing by any means, just want to know for the addition to the 'pedia.

You know what make a Sticky and post a pic(s) and info. That way you help people from searching or asking the same questions

1st Picture looks like this pike which is a Crenicichla lepidota "Aguas Blancas"
And lepidota Variant.

Here is a comparison of the 2 pikes miles and the picture i found
