ID these Perches

The difference is the Royal Nile perch have bright gold and black colors and the patterns are more outlined, they also don't get as big. Can't you guys see a difference? The top pic the colors are faded and dull and the bottom the colors are bright gold and black

Actually I don't believe in Latin or scientific names, I believe in the diff in the fishes themselves, based on our judgement
There are too many examples of fishes having same scientific or Latin names but looks very diff

I just noticed this, fish vary in appearance from locale to locale but if they have the same scientific name anatomically they are the same therefore making the other differences exclusively superficial.. And that's how we get all the common names that confuse the hell out of people

Pretty sure royals have the better bold coloring that stays with them at a bigger size and the regular nile colors are dull and they lose the coloring earlier as they grow...
