you can clearly see the difference, the african aros have different shape mouth to silver arowana.

the African aros are filter feeder, and not like silver aros which feeds on fish and small mammals.
 
african aro you only need to look at the tail

Looks like a silver arowana......perhaps it adapted in africa......released perhaps and evolved? or maybe thats what a silver looks like after it bleeds out a bit and is dried up....

First off, individuals don't evolve, populations do...
I really don't see why everyone has so much trouble accepting that it's an African aro, it is in Africa

i don't know why people have trouble with this. it's clearly an african aro, Heterotis niloticus, and yes they do get big.
